I have been involved in Pearl Haven from the beginning. I experienced, first hand, the transformation of a burned out building to a beautiful 24,000 square foot facility that provides a safe place for young, sexually exploited girls to heal. She possesses excellent leadership and financial skills. I served on HO’OLA NA PUA's Capital Campaign, chaired by Jessica.  The Committee had a lofty goal; to raise over $9 million dollars to renovate the building. The Committee met every week for a year. Led by Jessica we were able to raise the money, complete the renovation of the building on time and under budget – a remarkable achievement, especially during the Pandemic. She is an outstanding fundraiser and storyteller who has the ability to empower people to dream big and do the impossible I have seen her move diverse audiences to action, leaving them inspired and ready to impact their world.

With her non-profit, Ho’ola Nā Pua, she: obtained a long-term lease on14 acres of government land; raised over $12 million; and, obtained the regulatory approvals for the first of its kind, a thirty-bed facility in the State of Hawai’i. Girls who have been trafficked now have a safe place to go and heal. Jessica is a natural leader both in building community and team trust and in driving excellent, if not extraordinary, results.
